Advanced Post Graduate Master Program in Naval Architecture
(Post Graduate studies- 90 credits)
Track 2 corresponds to the original EMSHIP program (started in 2010, Intakes 1 to 6). The major change is his duration, 24 months instead of 18 months, to give more time at projects and a more smooth learning process.

The mobility scheme includes 4 semesters in 3 different countries and cultures:
Semesters 1 (5 months) : Liege, Belgium
University of Liege (ANAST – ULiège) - Ship Technology, Ship Structure, Ship Theory and Ship Design
Semester 2 (5 months): Nantes, France
Ecole Centrale de Nantes (ECN) - Ship and Marine Hydrodynamics
Semester 3 (7 months) : Five locations are available.
The study programme includes some additional advanced lectures, Master thesis and Internship:
In addition to these 7 prestigious European universities, the “EMSHIP” consortium includes outstanding and well-known associated universities for various parts of the world. Those universities have an advisory role and assist in the recruitment and assessment of candidates:
- University of Michigan (USA).
- University of Osaka (Japan).
- Federal University of Rio de Janairo (Brazil).
- University of New South Wales (Australia)
- Pusan University, KOSORI (Korea)
- Vimaru Maritime University (Vietnam)
- University of Sciences and Technology of Oran (Algeria)
- Istanbul Technical University (Turkey)
In this process an Industrial Advisory Board, composed of key European industrial partners, is also involved. They provide most of the internships and opportunities of recruitment after the graduation.
Finally the European Association of Universities in Marine Technology (WEGEMT) assists the consortium in the management and dissemination of information to potential candidates.

Degree awarded
At the end of the course, graduates are awarded with a double degree from ECN (France) and ULiège-ANAST (Belgium), including a supplement diploma covering the fourth semester in Galati, Rostock, Genova, Szczecin or ICAM-Nantes.
